Are you ready for ELDT?
The Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) regulations set the minimum Federal requirements for training which entry-level drivers must complete before being permitted to take certain commercial driver’s license (CDL) skills or knowledge tests on or after February 7, 2022.
The deadline is fast approaching. Any entity that intends to provide entry-level driver training on or after February 7, 2022 must register in the Training Provider Registry.
Who is required to complete ELDT?
Can I continue my in-house training program?
How do I know if my training program meets the ELDT curricula requirements?
How do I register for the Training Provider Registry?
Attend this training class and hear from FMCSA, NYSDMV, and industry representatives who will be available to answer these questions and more. Leave with the knowledge of who is required to comply as well as the qualifications for instructors and the standards for equipment, facilities and curricula laid out in 449 CFR Part 380 Subpart F.
